Vitamunda simplifies operations and enhances connectivity

More efficient and transparent inventory management

Vitamunda’s goal for implementing SAP Business One was to replace various standalone applications with a fully integrated ERP solution. We helped them to roll out eight different SAP administrations, including a structure where one administration manages the warehouse and inventory. Now, Vitamunda has a solid foundation for its operations. Aiden Intercompany ensures that inventory and sales administration are seamlessly synchronised, leading to more efficient and transparent inventory management.

Integration with shops and external warehouse

Vitamunda faced significant challenges in gaining full visibility and control over its inventory. The company had been using multiple standalone applications that did not communicate effectively with each other, making it difficult to track stock levels and ensure accurate data across different systems. This lack of integration led to inefficiencies, particularly in managing inventory across multiple online shops and an external warehouse. Additionally, to comply with pharmaceutical and food production regulations, Vitamunda needed to be able to precisely track product batches throughout the production and distribution cycle, which their fragmented system struggled to support.

To address these challenges, Aiden helped Vitamunda implement SAP Business One as a fully integrated ERP system. This solution provides end-to-end traceability for product batches, capturing all relevant data throughout the entire production and distribution process. A key step in this transformation was to deploy Aiden Connect, which enables seamless integration between Vitamunda’s SAP administrations, four shops, and an external warehouse. Now, when a customer places an order on one of the online shops, it’s automatically processed in the right entity’s business admin in SAP, and inventory movements instantly update in both the ERP system and the external warehouse. This new approach streamlines operations by eliminating manual data entry errors and giving Vitamunda real-time stock visibility.

Now, sales, inventory, and logistics are fully integrated, which significantly improves order processing speed and accuracy, and keeps Vitamunda’s customers happier. With SAP Business One and Aiden’s solutions in place, the company has a strong foundation for its future growth and digital transformation.

Vitamunda continues to focus on digital transformation and process optimisation. They’re already exploring options for automating more of their processes and connecting even more of their entities. At the same time, they’re working with Aiden to implement a solution from Elvy (a software provider specialising in digital administrative and financial processes) and Bank Connectivity by Aiden. This will streamline communication with banks for statements and payments, so Vitamunda spends less time and manual labour on financial processes.
