In January 2026, the organisation successfully went live with a new ERP under the internal name ‘Project Synergy.’ This project combines SAP Business One hosted in the Aiden Managed Cloud with several industry-specific software solutions from Aiden, and various integrations with other applications. The result is real-time reporting, a largely digitised warehouse, and an IT landscape ready for further growth.
Successful digital transformation with Project Synergy
The reason for Project Synergy was clear. For a long time, Twepa had been looking for a future-proof ERP system. The wholesaler from Twente was working a system that ran on outdated technology, was no longer being developed, and no longer matched the organisation’s day-to-day reality. Several migration attempts to other solutions ended prematurely. Project Synergy changed that: Twepa and Aiden laid the foundation together for a successful digital transformation.
Without warehouse scanning or a specific warehouse management solution, Twepa suffered from time-consuming logistics tasks and a higher risk of errors. Combined with an ERP that was end-of-life, Twepa needed not only a robust SAP ERP solution, but also end-to-end support.

With SAP Business One and the additional Aiden solutions, Twepa now has more efficient and largely automated logistics processes, real-time reporting, and seamless integration between systems. The number of manual actions has been significantly reduced, and the IT landscape has been set up to scale, so it can grow with the organisation. This translates directly into better decision-making, higher operational efficiency, and improved service for customers.

The organisation is already looking ahead to the next phase, which includes, among other things, digital proof of delivery for drivers and an integration with nShift – Transsmart on the roadmap. This will further digitise the final link in the logistics chain.
