In the Netherlands, Numatic International BV, as an independent subsidiary, is responsible for the sales and distribution in the Benelux. Using SAP Business One, a web shop link (Magento), and the ServicePro and WarehousePro add-ons, Numatic International BV automated many (administrative) processes. "We are fully satisfied with our collaboration with SAP partner Aiden," says Managing Director Rogier Moorman.
"We looked at two other ERP packages before choosing SAP. SAP is strong in the larger scheme of things. We expect a wholesale package to at least be proficient in finance, customers/relations, inventory and production. This does not always turn out to be the case. We therefore chose SAP because of its industry-specific solutions. WarehousePro and ServicePro were developed by ADC, which was later acquired by Aiden.
With the acquisition by Aiden, we could easily make the move to this partner. An implementation of ERP is never an easy task. At least, I've never heard or experienced that. It's about knowing in advance what obstacles you'll encounter along the way and looking for solutions appropriately and with a feasible schedule. SAP offers the flexibility to apply customization to the standard package and it has a large number of partners with industry expertise who offer solutions that fit our needs."
Moorman continues, "We traveled a long way before we came to Aiden. We first worked with other SAP partners. But Aiden scores above average when it comes to adhering to agreements, good budget control, and insight into costs. In addition, it is an organization with a lot of SAP and industry knowledge, which the consultants put to good use with clients like us."
